Saturday March 3rd - Zombie-O-Rama Spring Movie Event

Zombie-O-Rama has joined with the producers of the motion pitcure Mimesis to produce a pre-movie mini-crawl on Saturday March 3rd. Come to the Clubhouse sports bar in downtown San Jose in your zombie best and 2-for-one drink coupons and happy hour specials all night long.

The cast and crew will be on hand at the event to hand out free t-shirts to the first 200 people attending as well as other great free gifts. There will also be free zombie comics courtesy of SLG Publishing (whose warehouse is the home of Zombie-O-Rama) and the Art Boutiki.

While you are at the clubhouse you can also purchase half price tickets to that evening screening of Mimesis, which is part of the Cinequest Film Festival.

Then comes a short one block crawl (stumble) to the theater to see the movie. The entire event will be filmed by the movies producers and the footage will be included in the DVD release of Mimesis.

Zombie-O-Rama Night at the Museum

The San Jose Museum of Art will be staying open in the evening on the third Thursday of every month. This month the High Sheriffs here at Zombie-O-Rama will be helping kick the event off in high (low?) fashion with a Zombie-O-Rama Night at the Museum.Follow this on Facebook.

Museum admission after 5 PM is $5, with 2-for-1 admission for zombies and any other visitors in costume.

At 6:30 a special Undead Docent will lead a tour of the exhibit Book-Ish.

Live music will be provided by the Art Boutiki regulars known as The Grooveyard Shift.

Since this is an event in an Art Museum, drippy make-up is discouraged, but any kind of costume will get you in at the 2-1 price. The Museum Cafe will also be offering Haunted Happy Hour specials and we here at Zombie-O-Rama will be setting up a special Zombie Photo Op.

So, plan on being there! It is a MUST!

ZOMBIE WARFARE IN HOLLISTER CA.

ARC Airsoft Field in hollister CA is hosting a themed day of shooting zombies and they are loking for targets, that is people willing to dress up at zombies who do not mind being hit with airsoft pellets (an aside, I've been with with these things, they do sting if they hit your bare skin).

WE SURVIVED AGAIN!

Another Apocalypse has come and gone and we the survivors are grateful for the nearly 3,000 people who turned out on Wednesday night for Zombie-O-Rama.
